Privacy policy
Last updated: 25/07/2026 · Applies to the Vocabc app (iOS & Android)
In short: Vocabc collects no personal data whatsoever. All learning progress is stored right on your device. No account, no server, no ads, no tracking. The app runs fully offline.
1. What data do we collect?
None at all. Vocabc requires no sign-up, no sign-in, and collects no name, email, phone number or any identifying information.
2. Where is your learning data stored?
Your progress (words learned, day streak, skill scores, settings) is stored locally on your device (the app's own storage). This data:
- Is not sent to any server — we do not have a server.
- Does not sync between devices.
- Will be deleted if you uninstall the app, or tap "Erase all progress" in Settings.
3. Notifications (streak reminder)
If you turn on "Streak reminder" yourself, the app uses a local notification scheduled right on your device. No data is sent anywhere to produce that notification. The feature is off by default, and you can turn it off again at any time.
4. App permissions
Vocabc only asks for the Notifications permission (and only when you turn the reminder on). The app does not access the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or any sensitive data.
5. Ads & analytics
Vocabc shows no ads and embeds no analytics toolkit or third-party behaviour tracking.
6. Children
Because Vocabc collects no data, the app is safe for users of any age.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page along with the new revision date.
