Habit is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
Data We Collect
Habit keeps your data on your device and, to sync it between your devices, in your own private iCloud. We run no servers of our own, we cannot read what is in your iCloud, and we do not collect or receive any of your personal data.
The app stores the following data on your device and in your iCloud:
- Habit names, icons, colors, and schedules you create
- Daily check-in records and completion history
- Notification preferences and reminder times
- App settings and preferences
Data We Do Not Collect
- No account registration is required
- No personal information (name, email, phone) is collected
- No location data is accessed
- No usage analytics or crash reports are sent to us
- No data is sold or shared with third parties
Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app uses iOS UserNotifications to schedule local notifications. They are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device.
iCloud Sync and Backup
Your habit data syncs between devices signed in to the same Apple ID through iCloud (Apple's CloudKit, in your private database). This is handled entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy; we have no access to it. Deleting all data in the app also deletes it on your other synced devices. Your data may also be included in your iPhone's iCloud or iTunes backup if you have device backups enabled in iOS Settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
